It's a shame that Squadron now is such a shadow of its former self. I used to love getting the Squadron flyers back in the 1970's. I enjoyed reading your post on Walt very much.

Thanks, Doug. More times than I can count I've wondered what direction my life would've taken if the first Squadron Shop was NOT within biking distance from my house. I was there a few times when guys came in from out-of-state and bought shopping bags full of stuff. It was a real pilgrimage for them. A bike ride for me. The current Squadron operation shares a location with the old one, but little else that I can see.
