I've only recently discovered your blog. I like your approach to modeling, and I like the look of what you produce. This bird is no exception
Years ago, I read your FSM article on weathering the P-47, and it was so refreshing to finally find a professional (for real, in your case) modeler who realized that real aircraft aren't made of sewn together stuffed pillows, held together with stark black stitching.
I think I'll buy your book.

Thanks very much, Ralph. For a while I was saving images as I came across them, of models as you describe -- the most egregious examples. I was going to create a category for them here titled: Models (or Modelers) on Acid. Then I thought, why promote this nonsense in any way? As for my book, it's slightly dated, but continues to sell steadily. God bless you, little book.
