February 2017 -- 1/72 Heller Saab AJ-37 "Viggen" Finally can stick a fork in this one. Little bitch fought like crazy at some stages, but, as usual, I win.
Decals are from a Flying Colors sheet -- beautifully printed and complete, but brittle and lacking a desire to stick to the model. It's a little demoralizing finding that in the decals you've been counting on all along. Especially when there are no suitable replacements.
I believe the pitot tube is a little too long. It's removable, so I'll shorten the inserted end by a little bit. The painting has been documented earlier -- scroll down a bit and you'll find it covered.
Bottom is streaked up, but I chose to leave the upper surface paint shop fresh. There was more than enough work involved just doing that.
Stunning model Pat! And all the more impressive when its size is revealed by comparison to the eye glasses! Often I forget I am looking at a 1/72nd scale model when viewing your work. Unless these are some sort of novelty shop giant eye glasses!

Thanks, Tory. No games going on with the spectacles -- those are my work glasses -- helpless without at LEAST them!

Truly fantastic build Pat! That has to be one of the most challenging color schemes any modeler would face.

Thank you, sir. Certainly to reproduce that scheme accurately is about as challenging as it gets. Trying to think what would be second on the "challenge list." Maybe a silver and white SAC bomber with all the maddening walkway stripes on top?
