A full-size template helps enormously, but it's still a tedious couple of hours of cutting, trimming, fitting, etc., etc.
As I type this, Victor is parked on the furnace under a coat of Xtracolor dark green. That stuff doesn't dry nearly as fast as Yankee enamels, so I'll be letting him sit in the warm until tomorrow. Then the tape will come off and much expected fine-tuning of the camo shapes will begin. What to do in the meantime? Something easy sounds good.
