I'm starting this blog as I'm finishing my 50th year. I still don't know what I want to be or what I should be when I grow up. I've filled the last 20 years with plastic model airplane building, the vast majority for other people. In recent years I've supplemented the modeling with photography and writing magazine articles about some of the more interesting model jobs. Been married to an extraordinary woman named Molly Hunt since October, 1988. Finished an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from my local community college a couple years prior to that. (If I finished all the classes I dropped over the years, I'd have gotten a BA at that point.) In the early 90s I took some illustration courses at the local community college and discovered I had some talent making watercolor do what I wanted it to do. I've flirted with the two dimensional art realm since then. Actually sold one of my watercolors to an artist I highly respect. I'd like to explore this direction further.
